MEMORIAL VARSITY JACKET incorporates designs that have been used in the past or will become icons of the brand, and was created from the body up. The outer fabric is made of top melton with a moderate blend of nylon for a comfortable feel and to prevent pilling. The sleeve is made of chrome-tanned Hyogo leather with a patch of "(+81)" representing the country code of Japan and the iconic logo patch placed boldly on the sleeve. The ribs are made of 100% wool. The ribs are not ready-made, but originally knitted for this jacket. The lining is made of a firm polyester twill fabric that is also used for the outer fabric, so it does not easily lose its shape and has solid heat retention properties. The leather name patch at the neck is also a special specification for this item only. The entire process of creating the original badge, embroidery, and studs was done in Japan for this premium item.
